There is always something to be grateful for in our life no matter the circumstances. One important thing is to remember to give thanks. –Why? Because within gratitude lies the “magic” in turning negative situations or thoughts into positive ones for us and for the people we love.
When you are thankful for the things you have you are sending a very strong signal to the universe that you want more of those things and more of the good feelings that they bring into your life. It is as simple as taking just a couple of minutes during the day and give thanks for each thing that you are grateful for. Try to really mean it when you are repeating your list, you have to feel it in your heart that it makes you happy to have what you have and everything you accomplished in life.
Every little thing counts! Sometimes we need to really open our eyes and see how many things we take for granted each day like to be able to walk to go to work, to have the knowledge to do certain things, to be healthy, to have the hands to caress your child’s hair, to be able to brush your teeth in the morning, to have the eyes to read this, and many others. We only notice those things when we get sick or when we lose them. Once you give thanks you will feel good about yourself and you will attract more of those good feelings.
Also it is important to give thanks to the people who are kind to us. Remember all those people who did something for you, even if it was just staying beside you while you were crying, maybe they just smile at you and that way they made a difference in your life. Let them know how grateful you were then for their support and how grateful you are today being able to share those good feelings with them. You will receive more positivism from them, they are going to feel happy for you and that will create an equal state of gratitude multiplying on your favor and in theirs.
Not always we receive kindness from the world, but it is crucial to see the positive side of things and give thanks for all that we learn from the negative situations too. Those experiences will help you not to make the same mistakes.
It all start with a simple “Thanks!” and you will begin to see things differently. You will feel good, you are going to gain positivism, and the beautiful things you want in your life are going to stay with you or give you a valuable lesson that will help you get better ones. Be grateful for who you are, be grateful because you have the power to turn things around.
